Sens-A-Speed Variable Speed Drive – VS in the model name means Variable Speed. The Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive VS mower is self-propelled and the speed is matched to your walking pace by the Sens-A-Speed system. The mower’s drive speed can be altered independently of the engine speed which means that the engine can run at full speed to generate the maximum airflow for collecting the grass clippings but the forward walking speed can be altered to suit the operator and cutting conditions.

Vari-Pitch – The latest Hayter Harrier 56 range features Vari-Pitch cutting technology that automatically adjusts the forward-pitch angle of the cutter deck as the height of cut is raised or lowered, increasing airflow in more difficult conditions to ensure efficient grass collection.

Single Lever Height of Cut Adjustment – Adjusting the height of cut on your Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive VS is simple. The height of cut is changed using a single lever.

Superior Cut and Collection – Using aerospace technology, the design of the blade and the cutter deck have been optimised to pack the grass clippings into the 70 litre grass bag. When the grass bag is full, it simply lifts through the handles for easy emptying.

Trim Side – The Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive VS features Hayter’s Trim Side which allows you to cut right to the edge of your lawn. On one side, the wheel, cutter blade and rear roller are positioned in-line allowing easy mowing around borders, raised flower beds and retaining walls, reducing the need to trim around the lawn after mowing.

John Deere X117R Ride On Mower

The John Deere X117R lawn tractor is one of John Deere’s smaller lawn tractors and, with a 36” (92cm) width of cut, is ideal for tending to lawns of up to three quarters of an acre. Hydrostatic drive is a standard feature and power is provided by a reliable single cylinder engine.

The John Deere X117R lawn tractor is powered by a Briggs & Stratton engine and features a 36” (92cm) ‘direct collect’ grass cutting and collection system to ensure that the grass clippings are effortlessly cut and discharged into the generous 300 litre grass collector.

Forward and reverse travel is controlled by a foot operated hydrostatic drive to give you maximum control over the mower’s speed and direction. The harder you press the forward pedal, the faster the tractor drives forward. The harder you press the reverse pedal, the faster the tractor travels in reverse. This simple control makes changing speed and direction fast and easy.

All of the controls can be operated easily from the driving position. The blades are engaged with a manual control and the height of cut is adjusted with an easy-to-use lever which ensures minimum effort to move the cutter deck up and down.

The bonnet of the John Deere X117R is made of UV resistant polymer which won’t rust. Underneath the attractive exterior is a strong chassis, cast iron front axle and robust cutter deck. The John Deere X117R is protected by a standard two-year unlimited hours warranty which can be extended to 3 years or 120 hours (whichever comes first) when serviced annually by an authorised John Deere dealer. Private residential use only.

Commercial use warranty is 12 months with unlimited hours.

The Husqvarna 214TC rider brings together the concepts of mulching, articulated steering and hydrostatic drive in a well engineered package to give you superb cutting performance and manoeuvrability.

Featuring a front mounted 37” (94cm) BioClip Combi cutter deck, the Husqvarna 214TC can rear discharge or mulch the grass clippings. Whether in rear discharge or mulching mode, there is no need to keep stopping to empty a grass collector. In mulching mode, it will appear as if the grass clippings have been collected but the clippings will be below the surface of the lawn acting as a free source of nutrients for the grass.

With the cutter deck mounted at the front of the mower, you will enjoy an excellent view of the cutting operation and can reach under obstacles and into areas that you wouldn’t be able to reach with the mid-mounted cutter deck of a traditional lawn tractor.

The Husqvarna 214TC's hydrostatic drive gives you precise control of your speed of travel and the articulated steering provides exceptional manoeuvrability around trees, garden furniture and other obstacles that you may have to mow around. A pivoting rear axle ensures that all four wheels stay on the ground even when moving over uneven surfaces.

All of the controls are within easy reach of the comfortable driving position and this mower quite cleverly engages the blades automatically when the cutter deck is lowered into the working position.

Plenty of power is available thanks to the smooth running twin cylinder engine.

To add to the versatility of this mower, a towing hitch comes as standard so that you can pull a trailer, roller or any other towed implement.

When it is time for a spot of cleaning and routine maintenance, the engine area and underside of the cutter deck are very accessible. The cutter deck features a vertical service position to ensure that access is as easy as possible.
