Delivery, Returns and Exchanges

Christmas 2024

Delivery

In accordance with Royal Mail’s recommended last posting date for delivery before Christmas, orders should be placed before the 18th December 2024.

Orders of in-stock items placed before the 18th December will be fulfilled on the 18th at the latest. Orders placed after this date will still be processed and dispatched but are unlikely to arrive before Christmas.

We will continue to dispatch orders up until the 24th December. Our website will remain open over Christmas, and we will resume dispatching on 2nd January 2025.

Click & Collect

Please ensure that you are placing any click & collect orders in good time if required before Christmas. If you are collecting an order, please check our branch opening hours to avoid disappointment. 

Returns

Orders placed between 1st November 2024 and 24th December 2024 will have an extended returns period and will be returnable until 31st January 2025.

Extended returns window applies to merchandise (clothing and toys) items and parts only.

For orders placed from 25th December 2024 onwards, our usual returns policy will apply.

    Free local delivery

    We offer free local delivery to large areas of northern England. Once your order is placed we will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time.

    Your machine will be delivered by a member of our handover team who will go through an instructional handover with you to ensure you know the basics of getting the most out of your new machinery.

    During the handover we’ll run through the operation of the machine, basic maintenance and provide any necessary safety warnings that will allow you to get the most from your new machine in a safe way. We’ll also answer any questions that you might have.

    Spare parts, merchandise, engines, and accessories

    Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Courier

    In most cases orders will be dispatched with the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service.

    For larger, bulkier items or orders of a higher value, we may choose to dispatch using a courier service if it is more suitable.

Yes. All orders sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or by courier can be tracked. For machinery orders we will keep you informed regarding delivery.

Once we have dispatched your order, you will receive an email confirming dispatch which will contain a tracking number.

Returns and Exchanges FAQs

We have a 14 day returns policy. You have 14 days after receiving your order to notify us of your return. Please inform us of your intention to return an item before returning it to us. Please notify us via email: orders@ripongroundcare.com

After informing us of your return, you then have a further 14 days to return the item(s).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it in, unused and in its original packaging. Machines must be unused.

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs except in circumstances where the order is defective, in which case we will cover the cost of your return delivery.

Some items are not eligible for returns or exchanges, for example but not limited to:

  • Spare parts which have been fitted to a machine.
  • Merchandise which is worn or used.
  • Machinery that has been used.

Yes. We will happily exchange items from your order so long as you notify us within the 14 day window and the items you wish to exchange are unused and in their original packaging in line with our Returns Policy.
