The STIHL GHE250 is a multi-purpose electric chipper/shredder for reducing the volume of garden waste.

Powered by a 2000 watt electric motor, the GHE250 is equally well suited to hard garden waste such as branches, twigs and woody hedge clippings and softer green waste such as flower cuttings, leaves and thin twigs. The inclined feed chute combined with the large opening make feeding the GHE250 easy and effortless.

The maximum cutting capacity of the GHE250 is 30mm and, thanks to a noise reducing blade disc, noise is kept to a minimum.

Processed garden waste is ideal for composting, putting back on the garden as a mulch or simply popping in your recycling bin.

Access to the shredding chamber for cleaning and blade reversal or replacement is very easy. Simply loosen two thumb wheels and the hopper can be removed very quickly.

Safety is paramount when using a garden shredder so the exit from the shredding chamber is fully guarded to minimise the possibly of flying debris and a safety switch prevents the machine from operating with the chute removed.
