The STIHL GH460 is a chipper shredder for the volume reduction of garden waste such as twigs, branches, hedge clippings and leaves.

The powerful GH460 is ideal for processing large volumes of garden waste up to 60 mm in diameter, and is equally well suited to hard waste such as branches, twigs and woody hedge clippings and softer green waste such as flower cuttings, leaves and thin twigs.

Featuring a twin-chamber system, the GH460 has two individual feed openings. Each feed opening leads to blades that are ideally suited to processing either hard garden waste or softer green waste. The maximum cutting capacity is 60mm.

Processed garden waste is ideal for composting, putting back on the garden as a mulch or simply popping in your recycling bin.

Access to the shredding chamber for cleaning and blade replacement is very easy. Simply loosen a thumb wheel and the hopper can be removed very quickly.

Safety is paramount when using a garden shredder so the exit from the shredding chamber is fully guarded to minimise the possibly of flying debris and a safety switch prevents the machine from operating with the chute removed.
