The STIHL RMA448RV is a battery powered self propelled lawnmower with a rear roller designed for users looking to cut medium-sized to large lawns. Part of the 4 series cordless lawnmowers, the RMA448RV is a lightweight and quiet lawnmower making it ideal for home gardeners.
The RMA448RV rear roller is made from a durable polymer material to help achieve the perfect stripe. The deck of the machine is built with a rugged polymer material which is lightweight, rustproof, UV resistant and double layered for added stability. The deck has a 46cm cut width and single point height adjustment that is adjustable between 20 – 100mm.
Part of the AK System range of tools, the STIHL RMA448RV is powered by an AK30S battery that is interchangeable with other machines across the range. This set is supplied with an AK 30 S battery and AL101 charger.
There are two slots in the powerhead for two AK batteries, so when the first runs out of power you can quickly switch to a second. On a full charge with the recommended AK 30 S battery you will be able to mow lawns up to 340m².
The RMA448RV offers versatile mowing options without the need for extra tools, although we advise reading the owner’s manual beforehand. You can either:
- Utilise the grass catcher box for cutting and collecting.
- Opt for mulching by activating mulch mode.
With the convenient mono-handlebar, accessing and emptying the grass catcher box becomes effortless, aided by the fill level indicator. The 52-litre grass catcher box is designed ergonomically for easy opening and swift emptying. Additionally, the sturdy mono-handlebar is height adjustable and foldable for convenient storage.
