The Stihl MH445R is a mid-sized tiller for working in confined areas with a single forward speed and single speed reverse drive.
The 30cm diameter tines have been specially designed to turn over the soil efficiently and cover a tilling width of 45cm. Crop protection discs are provided to help minimise damage to crops growing adjacent to the working area.
Power from the reliable and quiet Stihl EVC200 petrol engine is transferred via a worm gear drive to the tines.
An anti-vibration system is built into the handles for operator comfort and the MH445R also features a handlebar adjustment allowing you to operate the tiller from the side to avoid standing on freshly tilled ground.
Thanks to the integrated wheels, transporting the tiller to and from the working area is easy. When you reach the working area, the wheels can be folded into their storage position allowing the integrated brake spur to control forward speed and digging depth. The brake spur has three depth settings and swivels through 180 degrees making it easier to operate the tiller in tight corners.
When the tilling is done, the cleaning position allows the tines to be removed easily for cleaning and refitting.
Transportation Wheels
The MH445R is fitted with wheels to make transporting the tiller easy. Once you reach the working area the wheels can be folded into their storage position.
Anti-Vibration system
For operator comfort the MH445R is built with an anti-vibration system in the handles. This reduced vibration allows for longer operation without discomfort.
Cleaning Position
Once you've finished tilling, the MH445R's cleaning position allows the tines to be easily removed for cleaning, maintenance and refitting.
Adjustable Handlebar
The MH445R features a handlebar adjustment which allows you to operate the tiller from the side, avoiding standing on freshly tilled ground. Adjusting is easy and doesn't require any tools.
