The preferred ride on mower for larger areas of grass, the Mountfield MTF 98H is a 38" (98cm) lawn tractor that offers superior cutting and collection performance.

The MTF 98H comes with foot operated hydrostatic driving which gives you maximum control over the speed and direction of the mower. The harder you press the drive pedal forwards, the faster the mower will drive. Likewise, the harder you press the reverse pedal, the faster the mower will reverse. This simple and intuitive control makes it easy to transition from mowing wide open areas at faster speeds to mowing tighter areas slower to give you more control.

The blades are engaged electronically via a switch on the dashboard. Once cutting is underway, the grass clippings are fed effortlessly into the 240 litre grass collector by the ‘direct collect’ system. When the collector is full, a warning tone sounds and the collector can easily be emptied from the sitting position.

The height of cut is adjusted by a single lever offering cutting heights between 25 and 80mm. This makes the MTF 98H the ideal ride on mower for whatever application you're cutting. Whether it's a fine lawn, orchard or roadside verge you can adjust the height of cut to suit.

When cutting is finished, a wash port allows grass clippings to be cleaned from the underside of the cutter deck without you ever needing to go near the blades.

To add to the versatility of this lawn tractor, a rear deflector chute is available if grass collection is not required. A mulching kit is included and a towing hitch is also available.
