This Grooved Front Roller allows you to create a superior cut with your Allett 20"/51cm cylinder mower.
By switching the supplied smooth roller for this grooved front roller there are three main benefits:
- As the grooved roller has less surface area in contact with the ground, less grass is laid down before the cutting cylinder cuts. This means a higher percentage of grass blades are cut more evenly.
- Cutting in a straight line is easier with the grooved roller, which also makes your mower easier to manoeuvre around the lawn.
- No scalping compared to auxiliary wheels.
Please be aware that using the grooved roller does reduce the mower's ability to create a strong stripe.
