Orders for robot mowers meeting the conditions below, will benefit from free installation (labour only) to the value of £400 inc VAT. Should an installation price be quoted that is in excess of £400 (typically for large and/or complex installations), the excess over £400 will be chargeable. To benefit from the free installation offer :- The location at which the robot mower is to be installed must be within the normal trading area of Ripon Ground Care. We (Ripon Ground Care) must undertake a site survey in order to offer the best advice on mower selection and the installation requirements. Your request for a site survey must be received by 23 December 2025. Unless otherwise agreed by us, your site survey, must be completed by 16 January 2026. Installation of the robot mower must be completed by 13 February 2026. If the installation is delayed (by adverse weather for example), we will agree a revised installation date but full payment for your order must be received by 13 February 2026. Full payment for your order must be received by the earlier of the day before the installation date and 13 February 2026.

About Large Lawnmowers
If you have a large garden with a lawn between 600 and 1,000 square metres, we would recommend a large lawnmower with a cutting width above 19"/49cm. Large lawnmowers not only have a wide cutting width, but also features that increase productivity and usability to make it easy to maintain your large lawn. Larger mowers also have larger grass collection meaning you can cut more before needing to empty the grass collector.Wide cutting lawnmowers
The lawnmowers in this section have a cutting width between 49cm and 56cm.
You have the choice between models with petrol engines or cordless (battery) motors with interchangeable batteries, allowing very large areas to be cut by a simple battery change.
A popular feature when you have a large amount of grass to cut is self-propelled drive. As these larger mowers are heavier, many of them feature self-propelled drive which means the mower drives itself forwards and doesn't need to be pushed by the operator.
