The Stihl MH445 is a mid-sized tiller with a single forward speed drive and is ideal for working in confined areas.
The MH445 has a tilling width of 45cm and it's 30cm diameter tines are specially designed to turn over the soil efficiently in a burrowing action. The MH445 also includes crop protection discs to help minimise damage to crops growing adjacent to the working area.
The quiet and reliable Stihl EVC200 petrol engine transfers power via a worm gear drive to the tines.
The handlebar can be adjusted to allow you to operate the tiller from the side, keeping your feet off the freshly tilled ground.
The integrated brake spur controls the forward speed and digging depth. With three depth settings and the ability to swivel through 180 degrees, the MH445 is excellently manoeuvrable and ideal for tight corners.
Transportation Wheels
The MH445 is fitted with wheels to make transporting the tiller easy. Once you reach the working area the wheels can be folded into their storage position.
Anti-Vibration system
For operator comfort the MH445 is built with an anti-vibration system in the handles. This reduced vibration allows for longer operation without discomfort.
Cleaning Position
Once you've finished tilling, the MH445's cleaning position allows the tines to be easily removed for cleaning, maintenance and refitting.
Adjustable Handlebar
The MH445 features a handlebar adjustment which allows you to operate the tiller from the side, avoiding standing on freshly tilled ground. Adjusting is easy and doesn't require any tools.
