A genuine, OEM‑specified engine‑brake (engine‑stop / safety) cable for selected Hayter lawnmowers — part number 111‑0998. Used on Harrier 48 mowers (models 490E/F/G/H/J, 491E/F/G/H/J, 496E/F/G/H/J) as well as the Ranger 3‑in‑1 436E.
Purpose & Function

Engine‑stop & safety control — This cable connects the mower’s handlebar control lever (engine‑stop or “operator presence” lever) to the engine’s brake or kill mechanism. When the lever is released, the cable engages the brake or kill‑switch to stop the engine and blade, helping prevent accidents or unintended mowing.
