This set includes the STIHL RMA248 lawnmower, an AK20 battery and AL101 charger, giving you everything you need to maintain your lawn.
The STIHL RMA248 is a battery-powered push-along lawn mower designed for entry-level users looking to maintain their small to medium-sized lawns. Included in the new 2 Series battery-powered lawn mowers, it offers a lightweight and quiet mowing experience, coupled with innovative features tailored for home gardeners.
Constructed with a sheet steel deck, this mower boasts a 46cm cutting width and single-point height adjustment adjustable between 20 – 100mm.
Battery Information:
There are two slots in the powerhead for two AK batteries, so when the first runs out of power you can quickly switch to the second. Part of the AK System range of tools, the STIHL RMA243 is powered by an AK20 battery that is interchangeable with other machines across the range and provides mowing distances of up to 220m2 . As part of the STIHL AK System, the RMA243 is compatible with a selected range of AK batteries. Maximum working distances are:
- AK10 - up to 110m2
- AK20 - up to 220m2
- AK30S - up to 285m2
Offering four mowing options, this mower provides versatility without the need for additional tools. Users can choose to:
- Cut and collect with the grass catcher box attached
- Cut and drop by removing the catcher box
- Opt for side discharge using the integrated flap
- Mulch with the multi-blade and attachment
Facilitating user comfort, the comfort mono-handlebar ensures easy access to the grass catcher box for effortless removal and emptying when full. Additionally, the fill level indicator on the grass catcher box provides timely alerts for emptying. Designed for convenience, the 52-litre grass catcher box is ergonomically crafted and easy to fully open for swift emptying. The sturdy mono-handlebar is height adjustable and foldable for compact storage after use.

Grass Collector Full Indicator
When air is flowing freely through the grass collector, the indicator will rise. When the indicator drops, airflow has been lost indicating that the collector is full.
