The STIHL FSA200R is the most powerful cordless brushcutter from STIHL. Designed for professionals working in landscaping and grounds maintenance, it’s powerful enough to tackle the toughest mowing, clearing and scrub cutting jobs. The FSA200R is a battery powered machine – meaning that it has low noise emissions, making it ideal for use in noise sensitive areas such as at hospitals, schools and quiet neighbourhoods.
The FSA200R is fitted with a loop style handle with a quick mounting system, meaning that the height of the handle can be adjusted for user comfort. The FSA200R features a powerful EC motor as well as speed adjustment controls on the handle which can be set to 3 different speeds depending on the task at hand. Plus there is also an energy saving mode for use when your battery charge is running low.
The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations on the STIHL FSA200R, protecting your muscles and joints during use. The air filter on the housing ensures that the engine is kept cool during work, improving the life of the machine.
The FSA 200R is supplied with the AutoCut C 26-2 blade as standard but other STIHL cutting tools can be fitted, such as the WoodCut, TrimCut, PolyCut, AutoCut, BrushCut and DuroCut tools. It also has a mount for the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A on the power tool housing.
Battery Information:
The recommended battery for the FSA200R is the AP500S, which provides up to 70 minutes of run time. As part of the STIHL AP System, the FSA200R is compatible a select range of AP batteries. Maximum working times (based on lowest setting) are:
- AP200S - up to 32 minutes (standard mode) and up to 19 minutes (boost mode)
- AP300S - up to 60 minutes (standard mode) and up to 32 minutes (boost mode)
- AP500S - up to 70 minutes (standard mode) and up to 40 minutes (boost mode)
