The SABO 38-BV is a powerful petrol lawn scarifier with a 15” (38cm) working width that is ideal for removing moss and thatch from medium to large lawns of up to 1,500m².
The 38-BV is hand propelled and powered by SABO's H133 4-stroke OHV petrol engine. Producing 2.3kW of power from its 133cc engine, it provides the performance required for thorough scarification and regular lawn maintenance.
A scarifying reel fitted with 15 blades effectively cuts through moss, thatch and dead grass while helping to aerate the lawn and encourage healthy new growth. The blade shaft is fitted with ball bearings to provide smooth and consistent operation.
The working depth is infinitely adjustable, allowing the scarifier to be precisely set to suit different lawn and ground conditions.
The SABO 38-BV features a robust die-cast aluminium chassis designed to provide excellent durability and a long service life, even with regular use. Ball-bearing front and rear wheels also help provide smooth movement across the lawn.
A 2.5-litre fuel tank provides plenty of capacity for maintaining larger areas, with SABO recommending the 38-BV for lawns of up to 1,500m².
The scarifier is supplied without a grass collection bag as standard. A collection bag is optionally available for collecting moss, thatch and other material removed during scarification.
When the scarifying is finished, the handlebar can be folded down to make the machine more compact for transport and storage.
