If you want a perfectly cut lawn but can’t cut the grass yourself or just don’t have the time, then let the Husqvarna Automower 305 robotic lawnmower do the work for you. Whether it is sunny or raining, whether you are at work, out shopping or asleep, the Husqvarna Automower 305 will take care of mowing the lawn so you don’t have to.

Installation is very straight forward and, once installed, the Automower 305 will automatically cut your lawn of up to 600 square metres. A complicated shaped lawn is no problem for the Automower 305 although if a lawn is particularly complex the recommended cutting area is reduced.

The Husqvarna Automower 305 is programmable to cut the lawn at times that are convenient for you. Maybe you don’t want the mower cutting at night or you want a break in cutting to let your children play on the lawn when they come home from school. No problem, just set the operating times accordingly. If you prefer night time cutting, that’s fine too. The Automower 305 is very quiet so you and your neighbours can get a good night’s sleep whilst your lawn is being cut.

During operating hours, the Automower 305 cuts the lawn and, when ready to recharge, finds its own way back to its charging station. When charging is complete, the mower returns to work.

Part of the installation process is to lay a boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn and around any internal obstacles such as flower beds or a pond. You can either bury the boundary wire or peg it to the surface of the lawn. If pegged to the surface, the grass will soon grow around the wire and it will disappear from sight. If there are any obstacles that the mower can cut right up to (trees for example), just ignore them when laying the boundary wire because the mower will easily negotiate the obstacle to continue mowing.

The boundary wire keeps the Automower 305 on your lawn. When the mower approaches the boundary it will sense the wire and turn in a random direction to continue cutting. The random cutting pattern means that all of the grass gets cut, even tight corners, and there are no wheel markings left in the lawn.

The Automower 305 is fitted with Automower Connect@Home. Via a Bluetooth connection with a range of 30 metres you can control basic settings on the mower via your smartphone. Upgrade to Automower Connect and you can control more functions on your Automower from your smartphone wherever you are. Automower Connect allows you to get status updates from your mower, control start and stop functions, change menu settings and receive alarms in case of theft.

A weather sensor assesses the rate of growth of the grass and adapts the cutting time accordingly. The mower is automatically guided through narrow passages to ensure that even the narrowest of grassed areas get cut and a spot mowing feature ensures that areas of longer grass are also cut.

Because the Husqvarna Automower 305 is cutting the grass regularly, the grass clippings are tiny. The grass hardly has time to grow before it is being cut again so the grass is less stressed by the cutting and the tiny clippings just disappear back into your lawn. Less stress and free nutrients make for a greener and healthier lawn.

If you are worried about security and safety, the Automower 305 has an in-built alarm that sounds when the mower is lifted and the blades stop automatically. A PIN code is required to start the mower and lift it without the alarm sounding. So if you are worried about curious little fingers or light fingers then Husqvarna have it covered.
