Purpose & Function

• Part of a split rear-roller system — This is one half of the rear roller used on Harrier 41 models; when used together with the matching opposite half, it forms the mower’s full rear roller assembly. 

• Provides lawn-striping & stability — The ribbed roller helps press down grass after cutting, producing the classic striped lawn appearance. It also helps keep the mower deck level and stable over the lawn, improving cut consistency. 

• Facilitates smooth turning and manoeuvrability — Because the roller is split (two halves), each half can rotate independently when you turn the mower — making turns easier and reducing turf scuffing or damage, especially at the ends of mowing passes.
