The first battery vacuum shredder in STIHL's AP System and the most powerful vacuum shredder on the market at the time of writing. Designed for professional use, the SHA 140 is compatible with the full range of AP System batteries.
The SHA 140 is a dedicated vacuum shredder and does not have a blowing function.
With 15% greater suction power than the SH 86, the SHA 140 efficiently collects leaves, grass and hedge clippings with ease.
Ergonomic handle positioning
The SHA 140 is comfortable to use thanks to the wide handles and positioning of the collection bag.
Excellent air flow management
Catcher bag ventilation enables constant suction power regardless of the fill level and degree of dirt in the catcher bag.
Robust catcher bag
The zipper on the catcher bag is replaced by robust metal buckles. The shape of the catcher bag is designed for quick and complete emptying.
Variable speed trigger and boost mode
Potentiometer for greater control, boost mode integrated into the throttle trigger.
IPX4 rated
Like all AP System batteries and most AP System tools, the SHA 140 is IPX4 rated and can be used in the rain.
Smart Connector 2 A compatibility
Plugs directly into the control module and collects valuable information such as working time and working speeds
Recommended Battery
The SHA 140 is compatible with the full AP System range of batteries, but STIHL recommend the AP 300S which provides a maximum working time of 60 minutes, or 30 minutes using the boost function.

Reduce the size of the material to better fill the catcher bag and to speed up composting
Tool-free removal of catcher bag and suction tube
Wide openings allow easy access for cleaning (e.g. in the event of a clog).
