The Stihl MSA 160 C-B is the ideal, reliable chainsaw for cutting firewood, maintenance work and a variety of other jobs around the garden or small holding. Powered by Stihl's AP System battery range, the MSA 160 C-B delivers power without excessive noise, making it suitable for use in noise-sensitive areas. Stihl suggest that no hearing protection is required when using this saw.
As a comparative for petrol driven chainsaws, the MSA 160 C-B generates a mechanical output of 1.2kW.
With a 30cm/12" bar length*, the MSA 160 C-B is suitable for cutting logs, pruning and felling small trees.

QuickStop Super Chain Brake
The QuickStop Super Chain Brake provides faster, safer chain braking. The brake is applied if the user releases the rear handle or when the front guard is activated. In addition, if there is a strong kickback the brake will apply and stop the chain instantly.
Quick Chain Tensioning
Easily adjust the chain tension without the need for tools. Simply release the sprocket cover and turn the knob to adjust.
Quick Release Oil Tank Cap
Adding chain oil and fuel is quick and easy with Stihl’s quick release tank caps, without the need for any tools.
