The STIHL MS391 semi-professional chainsaw has a modern design and features STIHL's 2-stroke engine with 2-MIX technology which cuts fuel consumption by up to 20% and emissions by up to 50% when compared with Stihl’s conventional 2-stroke engines.
STIHL's MS391 is fitted with a 64.1cc engine that generates 3.3kW / 4.5hp giving superior performance and provides outstanding cutting characteristics to meet the many demands of farmers, gardeners, landscapers and craftsmen when felling trees, building with wood and performing landscape, farm or garden maintenance.
STIHL have fitted to the MS391 their long-life air filter system to ensure maximum life from the air filter. Operator comfort is assured thanks to professional anti-vibration technology that minimises vibration transfer to the operator.
Effortless starting of the MS391 is achieved thanks to a decompression valve which reduces the energy required for starting.
The MS391 also features STIHL's side chain tensioning which keeps your hands away from the chain whilst turning the adjuster to adjust the chain tension.
An adjustable oil pump ensures that the rate of chain and guide bar lubrication can be adjusted to suit the operating conditions.
Common to most STIHL chainsaws, the master control lever enables the stop, start and choke functions to be controlled from just one lever.
The STIHL MS391 is available with a 16” (40cm), 18” (45cm) or 20” (50 cm) guide bar. Please note, cutting length will always be a little shorter than the bar length because of the way guide bars are measured. The difference between the guide bar length and cutting length varies by chainsaw model.
