Long grass, weeds and undergrowth are no match for the STIHL's FS56C-E brush cutter. The FS56C-E is mid-range in STIHL's line up of smaller brushcutters that are suited to maintenance of the larger garden.

STIHL's fuel efficient 2-Mix 2-stroke engine is fitted to the FS56C-E and provides plenty of power to the nylon line cutting head. The cutter head is a bump feed head which means that when the mowing line is worn, you can simply tap the head on the ground gently and more line will be released automatically. When it is time to refill the cutting head, reloading cord is very easy.

For tougher mowing conditions, an optional metal grass cutting blade is available.

The bike handle configuration makes the FS56C-E suited to prolonged work in larger areas. A shoulder harness is supplied with the FS56C-E and, during operation, most of the weight of the brush cutter is taken by the shoulder rather than the arms. The bike handles are comfortable to hold and are simply used for ‘steering’ the brush cutter.
