The STIHL FS240C-E is a powerful brush cutter from STIHL'S range of brush cutters that are suited to cutting long grass and landscape maintenance work.

Long grass, weeds and undergrowth are no match for the FS240C-E thanks to the power output of STIHL'S efficient 2-Mix 2-stroke engine.

Although the FS240C-E has a powerful engine, thanks to STIHL'S ErgoStart system, starting is easy. ErgoStart is a spring assisted starting system which helps to make starting the engine feel almost effortless.

The cutter head is a bump feed head which means that when the mowing line is worn, you can simply tap the head on the ground gently and more line will be released automatically. When it is time to refill the cutting head, reloading cord is very easy.

The FS240C-E can also be fitted with several styles of optional metal blades for tackling longer grass, brush and small saplings. A four-tooth metal grass cutting blade is supplied as standard.

The bike handle configuration makes the FS240C-E best suited to prolonged work in larger areas and a single point anti-vibration system is fitted for operator comfort.

A full harness is supplied with the FS240C-E and, during operation, most of the weight of the brush cutter is distributed away from the arms to the torso by the harness. The bike handles are comfortable to hold and are simply used for ‘steering’ the brush cutter.
