Replacing the AL500, the AL501 charger is a new fast charger for the STIHL AP System batteries with a modernised design. A key benefit of the AL501 Charger is a new situational charging feature, allowing users to adapt the charge speed of the AP200S and AP300S batteries via the STIHL Connected App.
The AL501 can be free standing or wall mounted and a Velcro tape helps keep the mains cable tidy.
Situational Charging
The charging speed of individual batteries can be changed between gentle, normal and rapid in the STIHL Connected App. Gentle charging benefits battery health and reduces the load on the electrical circuit, ideal for overnight charging. Rapid charging is available for demanding applications where a boost is needed, such as charging during working breaks.
For non-Connected users, batteries will be charged at normal speed by default.
