With a lightweight power head for easy maneuverability and good balance. The shaft is rigid and not extendable with a total length of 240 cm.

The recommended battery for this product is the AP200S, which provides up to 42 minutes of run time. As part of the STIHL AP System, the HTA66 is compatible with the full range of AP batteries. Maximum working times are:
- AP20 - up to 32 minutes
- AP200S - up to 42 minutes
- AP30 - up to 65 minutes
- AP300S - up to 68 minutes
