The STIHL FSA50 cordless grass trimmer is ideal for trimming grass under fences and around obstacles in small to medium sized gardens.

The FSA50 is fitted with a STIHL AutoCut cutting head. The mowing line automatically feeds from the head when the mowing head is gently tapped on the ground. When it is time to refill with mowing line, refilling the head is a simple job. Optional PolyCut blades can also be used.

The cutter head can be adjusted to three different angles and features an edger function to neatly trim lawn edges.

The shaft height is adjustable to allow operators of different heights to use this grass trimmer comfortably. The loop handle angle can also be altered with ease.

The battery and charger are sold separately or the FSA50 can be supplied as a set complete with battery and charger. Stihl recommend the AK10 battery with the FSA50 grass trimmer.

Maximum run times are:

• AK10 - up to 25 minutes at with the line mowing head and up to 50 minutes with the plastic blade mowing head
  
• AK20 - up to 50 minutes at with the line mowing head and up to 100 minutes with the plastic blade mowing head
  
• AK30 - up to 60 minutes at with the line mowing head and up to 120 minutes with the plastic blade mowing head
  

Flexible Spacer Bar

When the cutter is whizzing round in an invisible blur, the spacer bar indicates the maximum reach of the cutter to help guide your trimming. This helps to prevent damage to plants and unnecessary wear on the cutter when trimming against an abrasive surface such as a wall. To trim closer, the bumper can be pressed against a hard object allowing the line to trim nearer.
